On April 15 & 16, Studio 180 Co-Presents JOE PAPP IN FIVE ACTS at TJFF
We’re proud to be partnering with the Toronto Jewish Film Festival to co-present the Canadian Premiere of this documentary about Joe Papp, founder of The Public Theater and the New York Shakespeare Festival. Papp is responsible for bringing to the stage the first ever production of The Normal Heart, which opened in New York on April 21, 1985, and ran for 294 performances – the Public’s longest-running play to date.
On both dates, Studio 180’s Artistic Director, Joel Greenberg, will introduce the film and moderate a post-screening Q&A with the filmmakers.
