Let’s Talk About PDA!

We love a good PDA (Public Display of Affection)… but we’re even more excited about Jonathan Wilson’s play, A Public Display of Affection, premiering in March/April 2025!

Join our “PDA” Campaign and help us raise $10,000 by December 31st to bring Jonathan’s groundbreaking, world premiere Canadian play to the stage.

This is a landmark moment for Studio 180: our first time fully producing a play developed through our IN DEVELOPMENT program as our mainstage production. Over the last five years, we’ve nurtured this powerful piece through dramaturgy, public readings, student readings and workshops. The impact on audiences has been profound, and we can’t wait to share it with Toronto audiences, including 300 high school students across the Greater Toronto Region. Together, we’ll dive into conversations about identity, homophobia, loss, and gentrification, while exploring the rich history of Toronto’s Gay Village in the 70s and 80s through Jonathan’s uniquely comedic and heartfelt play.

Ticket sales only cover 12% of our operating expenses, so we count on every dollar from individuals like you to fund our programming.
