Last season, a record 500 high school students came to see Studio 180 Theatre’s mainstage production of Four Minutes Twelve Seconds. Students received ticket subsidies, participated in post-show talkbacks with cast members, and explored the themes of the play more deeply through three IN CLASS workshop sessions

Ellis, Kareena and Muhammad are grade 12 students that watched Four Minutes Twelve Seconds and participated in IN CLASS workshops around the themes of the play. Hear about the impact that Studio 180’s work has had on them.

Ellis and Kareena also participated in a series of Finding Your Voice IN CLASS workshops that culminated in the students devising a play for the 2024 National Theatre School Ontario Drama Festival. Hear about their experience creating monologues out of their own personal experiences.

Ticket sales only cover 12% of our operating expenses, so we count on every dollar from individuals like you to fund our programming.
